How To Apply For CAT Exam Step by Step

Step 1:

Login to the official website of Common Admission Test that is iimcat.ac.in

Click on New Candidate Registration that are given in the Common Admission Test (CAT). Enter your personal details like name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, and nationality. Verify your registration by entering the OTP sent to your mobile number. Create a password and login credentials. Fill all the basic details that are required for the Registration of Common Admission Test CAT.

Step 2:

Login to your account and access the application form. Fill in the required details carefully, including Personal information Academic details from Class 10 onwards. Programme choices IIMs and programs you wish to apply to Upload scanned copies of relevant documents e.g category certificate, PwD certificate. You need to compile you documents to Kilo bytes KB before your documents.

Step 3: 

Upload a recent passport-sized photograph and your signature remeber that your photograph and the signature should be neat and clean and also compiled in the specified format. Ensure the size and quality meet the requirements mentioned on the website.

Step 4: 

Pay the application fee online using a debit/credit card or net banking.There is no offline process of the submission of fee. Fee should be paid only through the online mode. The fee varies depending on your category.

Step 5: 

Carefully review all the information you entered. Once you are satisfied, submit the application form. Remember you cannot edit the form after submission. Remember the registration id and the registration password that you have created for the Common Admission Test CAT.
