SSC GD Result 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the General Duty (GD) Constable exam result on 15 July 2024. So the Physical Test (PET/ PMT) process can be started after the written exam result. As many as 4745501 candidates appeared for the SSC GD Constable Exam 2024. The candidates are eagerly waiting for their results. The SSC GD Computer Based Test (CBT) exam was held from 20 February to 7 March and 30 March 2024.
SSC GD Exam Important Dates 2024
The SSC GD Constable Notification 2024 was released on 24 November 2023 and the online applications were invited from 24 November to 31 December 2023. The SSC GD CBT exam was held from 20 February to 7 March and 30 March 2024. The SSC GD Answer Key was released on 3 April 2024. Now the SSC result is going to be released at 15 July 2024. SSC GD Physical Test Details 2024:
There are two parts to the SSC GD Physical Test both are mentioned below.
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Physical Standard Test (PST)
The PST involves the measurement of height, weight and chest (for male candidates only). The minimum requirements are as follows:
Height:
- Male (General, SC & OBC): 170 cm
- Female (General & OBC): 157 cm
Chest measurement (Male Only):
- Minimum chest: 80 cm
- Minimum expansion: 5 cm
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The PET is a running test where candidates have to cover a specific distance within a given time. The distance and time limit varies depending on the gender of the candidate.
- Male Candidates: 5 km in 24 minutes
- Female Candidates: 1.6 km in 8.5 minutes.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) releases the SSC GD results on their official website mentioned in the above table section.
Steps To Check SSC GD Result 2024:
- Visit the SSC website.
- Click on the “Result” section.
- Look for the “GD” tab and click on it.
- Find the link for “SSC GD Result 2024”
- The link will likely lead you to a page where you can enter your registration number and password or other login detaild.
- Once you enter your details, click on submit.
- Your SSC GD result will be displayed on the screen. You can download and print a copy of the scorecard for your reference.
